Here's how Microsoft identifies and chooses suppliers from the portal:

1. Microsoft Vendor Account Managers review the set of registered business enterprises, as well as other business enterprises in the target industries using other databases.
2. If your company is deemed appropriate for consideration to become a Microsoft supplier, the first step will be for you to fill out a New Vendor Application (NVA).
3. Upon approval of your NVA, you will become eligible to begin the process of entering the Microsoft Vendor Program (MSVP) program. This includes a number of steps, including signing the MSVP Agreement and adhering to the Program Administrative Guidelines (PAG).
4. If you are accepted into the Microsoft Vendor Program and become an MSVP vendor, when a department needs a service such as you supply, you may be selected from the list of other approved vendors that provide similar goods and services.
