The International Mark of Distinction is awarded to organizations or companies whose performance over the last year is worthy of note. Such organizations have either managed to survive trying times for their industries, or have put into place processes that have improved the level of value delivered to investors.
The Mark is regulated by the International Charter, and is governed by a strict code of conduct and regulations that are used to locate eligible companies.
Many companies have found that this award increases shareholder confidence greatly.
It is more accessible to medium companies than the International Mark of Excellence.
